Is it possible to add Active Directory (AD) group i.e. 'Domain Group' into LOCAL Linux Group in RHEL?

  • How do I add windows domain group to linux local group? For example:
In Windows environment, if system is joined to Doamin, it allows to add domain group *Group1* to workstation group *Administrator*. So that, whevever member of *Group1* logs into a domain workstation, that user can act as *Administrator* and can have full access to the system.

Is it possible to achieve the same in RHEL environment?
