Issue
- shadow-utils update to version 4.6-22.el8 or later creates the file /etc/login.defs.rpmnew, which contains the setting "SHA_CRYPT_MAX_ROUNDS 5000". When the original login.defs has been modified, the login.defs.rpmnew is created. If not, login.defs is simply updated to the new version containing the setting.
