Does mdraid provide any option to limit the retries on failing disk?
Issue

We had an Issue with a failing Intel-SSD taking quite a long time to get disabled. It was showing I/O-Errors over few hours. Eventually users had to manually mark the disk as failed in mdraid. Is there maybe a possibility from OS-side to avoid these long hours and to get the disk to disable faster?
