Error creating LVMCluster resource in OpenShift 4.x due to chunk size configuration

Issue

  • Unable to successfully create LVMCluster resource deployment
  • Error messages similar to the following are in the LVMS Operator managed namespace events:
InconsistentLVs     lvmvolumegroup/vg1     error on node openshift-storage/openshiftnode01: error while validating logical volumes in existing volume group: no LV was found in the report, meaning that the thin-pool LV is no longer found, but the volume group might still exist

ThinPoolCreateOrExtendFailed     lvmvolumegroup/vg1     error on node openshift-storage/openshiftnode01: failed to create thin pool thin-pool-1 for volume group vg1: failed to create thinpool: failed to create logical volume "thin-pool-1" in the volume group "vg1" using command '/usr/sbin/lvcreate -l 90%FREE -Z y -T -c 131072b vg1/thin-pool-1': exit status 5: WARNING: Chunk size is too small for pool, suggested minimum is 512.00 KiB....
