How does Lenovo tune the system to imporve event response time (latency) for their realtime cert?

Issue

When running the rteval tool, either as a part of a Red Hat Hardware Certification for Real-Time run or on its own, the measurement check fails with errors such as the following:

Checking /rteval/Measurements/Profile/cyclictest/system/statistics/maximum: Must be < 150.000000, measured to 168.000000 ...
Error: Measurement Check failed for /rteval/Measurements/Profile/cyclictest/system/statistics/maximum
Checking /rteval/Measurements/Profile/cyclictest/system/statistics/standard_deviation: Must be < 3.000000, measured to 1.350098 ...
