Why GUI desktop console screen going blank after login ?

Issue

  • Users are able to see gdm login screen, but after logging they are getting blank screen. All users are facing this issue.
  • The problem is observed only while GNOME desktop is chosen to login on login screen. No problem logging into KDE session.
  • Same is the result with new user account.
  • Able to launch gnome-session from failsafe session and it does work well.
