Why vrrp_script fail to verify port from keepalived v1.3.0?

Issue

  • Keepalived failover does not happen.
  • vrrp_script fail to verify port with '</dev/tcp/127.0.0.1/22'.
  • Keepalived fails with the below error:
Jan 15 12:19:35 keepalived-master Keepalived_vrrp[3701]: Unable to access script ``</dev/tcp/127.0.0.1/22``

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
  • keepalived v1.3.0
