Host OS version for undercloud and/or overcloud in RHOSP13

Issue

  • Intel® Select Solutions for NFVI Red Hat® Configurations suggests to use RHEL 7.4 (kernel 3.10.0-693.17.1) as host OS.

  • Could you please let us know can we use RHEL 7.4 OS for the undercloud or director.

  • Also how can we ensure that while provisioning the compute node and controller node, director pushes same OS into the nodes?

  • Could you please help us with suggestions ?
