Large tape backups failing with mpt3sas_cm0: fault_state(0x2100)
Issue
Tape backup using large files like 5-10GB or large backups of 5-10 TB of size are failing with below error.
[root@hostabc123 tmp]# tar -cvf /dev/st0 /large_Files
tar: Removing leading `/' from member names /large_Files
tar: /dev/st0: Cannot write: Input/output error
tar: Error is not recoverable: exiting now
