mongodb-persistent template lock file issue

Issue

  • The OpenShift mongodb-persistent template is not working.

  • the mongo container creates a new lock file and fails starting up mongo

    I STORAGE [initandlisten] exception in initAndListen: 98 Unable to lock file: /var/lib/mongodb/data/mongod.lock errno:5 Input/output error. Is a mongod instance already running?, terminating

Environment

  • OpenShift Container Platform 3.9
  • MongoDB 3.2
  • MongoDB 3.4

  • PV mounted as NFS version 3

    (rw,relatime,vers=3,...)
