How to Block ICMP request for a particular interface in RHEL

Issue

  • How do I disable ping for a particular interface?

  • Trying to get ICMP requests blocked on eth1 but allow on other interfaces. Output of iptables shows its properly configured to block icmp on eth1 and allow others to ping but if I do not specify an interface icmp blocks on all interfaces just fine.
