Red Hat JBoss AMQ 6 EOL January 2022

Updated -

Red Hat JBoss AMQ 6.x will reach the end of maintenance support in January of 2022. After this date, customers wishing to continue to receive support for JBoss AMQ 6 will need to purchase both maintenance support AND an Extended Life Cycle Support (ELS) subscription. There will be no further releases of JBoss AMQ 6. Only selected critical bug fixes will be provided under ELS, in consistency with Red Hat’s published Middleware Support Policy.

To receive continued comprehensive support and access the most advanced and modern integration capabilities Red Hat offers today, customers are encouraged to upgrade to the latest version of Red Hat AMQ 7 at their earliest convenience.

And if you have ever thought about modernizing your integration capabilities, AMQ 6 eligible customers can currently move at no additional cost to Red Hat Integration, which includes AMQ 7, at renewal time. In addition, they can receive 10 cores at no cost for one year of Red Hat Integration and Red Hat OpenShift via the new Level Up AMQ program.

In addition to AMQ 7, Red Hat Integration, provides
- Lightweight, modern integration via Red Hat Fuse 7
- API connectivity and management
- Real-time Messaging, change data capture, and data streaming with Kafka via AMQ 7
- Self-service for business and non-technical users
