Red Hat Quay 3.11 is now generally available!

Updated -

The Red Hat Quay engineering team is excited to announce the new release of 3.11. This release introduces new permission and lifecycle automation updates for greater ease and accessibility for its users. Through Team-Sync with OIDC groups, users can manage permissions more effectively based on groupings of users defined in their OIDC provider.

Expanding off of the previous release, Quay 3.11 introduces repository-specific rules to image pruning policies in addition to or instead of organization-level policies. This adds an extra layer of protection by reducing exposure to vulnerabilities found in outdated images and against unbound content growth in the registry. More security is also provided with support for AWS Security Token Service to authenticate against AWS APIs. This release also includes more Quay feature coverage in the new user interface (UI). Users are now able to manage their image builds, review audit events in organizations, search tags, repos, and organizations with regular expressions and leverage a dark mode within the new UI.
