Announcing the release of Red Hat AMQ Streams 2.5.1

We're pleased to announce the release of Red Hat AMQ Streams 2.5.1, a patch release for the LTS version of our product. AMQ Streams simplifies the process of running Apache Kafka on OpenShift and Red Hat Enterprise Linux.

The supported platforms for AMQ Streams 2.5.x releases, including this patch release, remain the same. Additionally, the supported version of Kafka for this release is 3.5.0. As a result, upgrading from a previous 2.5.x release won't require any modifications to your existing infrastructure.

What's new in AMQ Streams 2.5.1

This release fixes several CVEs, enhancing the security of the product AMQ Streams users.
Most importantly, it addresses CVE-2023-44487, a critical Denial of Service (DoS) vulnerability in the HTTP/2 protocol.
