Announcing RH-SSO Operator GA with Red Hat Single Sign-On 7.5 Update 1 (7.5.1 GA)

Updated -

We are pleased to announce the general availability of Red Hat Single Sign-On 7.5 Update 1 (RH-SSO 7.5.1) as the latest maintenance update available for download.

The update delivers fixes for security issues and a number of bugs fixed in the SSO server and container distribution. SSO users are encouraged to update to 7.5.1 as soon as possible to maintain the security of their deployments. Details of the fixes are included in the release note.

With this update, the Red Hat Single Sign-On Operator is no longer in technical preview state and is fully supported now.

The operator is also supported for use in disconnected environments.

We have also deprecated and/or marked as unsupported some features in the Red Hat Single Sign-On Operator. This concerns the Backup CRD and the operator managed Postgres Database.

With the operator being supported, the channel name for the OLM Subscription also changed from alpha to stable. In order to update to Red Hat Single Sign-On Operator 7.5.1 you need to update your Subscription object in OpenShift to use the stable channel.
