Learn about version 1.7 of Red Hat AMQ Streams, now available

Version 1.7 of Red Hat AMQ Streams is available for download and installation.

The features added in this release of AMQ Streams on OpenShift include:

• OpenShift Container Platform 4.6 and 4.7, and Apache Kafka version 2.7.0, are now supported.

• Introducing the v1beta2 API version, which updates the schemas of the AMQ Streams custom resources.

• Kafka Connect build configurations can automatically build a container image with the required connector plugins.

• Metrics are configured by a ConfigMap that is automatically created when a custom resource is deployed.

• Connector instances and the associated tasks can restart using Kubernetes annotations on the relevant custom resources.

• Cruise Control for cluster rebalancing

• Dynamic logging configuration
