Red Hat is pleased to announce key updates to your Red Hat Smart Management subscriptions: general availability of Red Hat® Satellite 6.8 and expanded capabilities for SAP with Red Hat Insights. The latest enhancements focus on three key areas: Managing SAP workloads, making it easier to manage Red Hat Enterprise Linux, and security enhancements.
Managing SAP workloads
Insights now automatically identifies SAP systems and provides a dashboard curated to view system health and security risks specifically for SAP infrastructure, and with Smart Management, you have the added benefit of push-button remediation to take immediate action on identified issues, at scale, across the SAP landscape.
Easier Red Hat Enterprise Linux® and security enhancements
Satellite 6.8 makes it easier to upgrade from Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 to 8 and improves the upgrade process for Satellite. This release also adds IPv6 support, provides provisioning and automation enhancements, and takes support for Common Access Cards from tech preview to full support.
