Creating ChRIS: Open source technologies help improve patient care

Updated -

Creating ChRIS, a new video series from Red Hat, shows how Boston Children's Hospital (BCH), the Massachusetts Open Cloud (MOC), and Red Hat have partnered to democratize medical image processing with ChRIS Research Integration System (ChRIS).

The series tells the story of how a team of doctors, researchers, and open source contributors created an image processing application that helps medical practitioners make quicker and more accurate diagnoses.

Red Hat is proud to support ChRIS by:

Making it easier to build, deploy, and scale applications for imaging, analytics, and diagnostics with Linux® containers and Kubernetes using Red HatⓇ OpenShift® Container Platform.

Creating an agile cloud infrastructure for scalable compute notes and accelerated graphics processing unit (GPU) computing while adhering to security standards with Red Hat OpenStack® Platform.

Improving the scale and efficiency of their healthcare image processing applications with other technologies like Red Hat Ansible® Automation and Red Hat Ceph® Storage.
