Red Hat Fuse version 7.0 released

A significant new release of Red Hat Fuse, version 7.0, is now available. Red Hat Fuse is a distributed integration platform with standalone, cloud, and Integration Platform-as-a-Service (iPaaS) deployment options. Using Fuse on-premises and cloud distributions, integration experts, application developers, and business users can collaboratively develop connected integration solutions.

There are three distributions of Fuse that you can download, or use in a hosted cloud environment.
- Red Hat Fuse Online
- Fuse on OpenShift
- Red Hat Fuse standalone (on-premises)

Red Hat Fuse Online is the new, hosted, cloud-native version of Red Hat Fuse that includes Fuse Ignite, a visual, browser-based integration development interface. Fuse Ignite is a low-code, drag-and-drop interface for creating integrations that work with Fuse on OpenShift and Red Hat Fuse Online. You can also install Fuse Ignite on OpenShift Container Platform to run the interface in a cloud environment that you manage.

Fuse on OpenShift is designed for deployment in public or private cloud environments. Fuse on OpenShift is the new name for Fuse Integration Services, which enables you to deploy Fuse applications on OpenShift Container Platform. Updates to Fuse on OpenShift fpr v7.0 include a new JBoss Enterprise Platform Application (EAP) image, redesigned Hawtio console, and improved JVM memory tuning.

Red Hat Fuse standalone is the on-premises distribution of Fuse that supports several runtime containers: Spring Boot, Apache Karaf, and JBoss EAP. Important new and updated features include:
- Spring Boot standalone deployment
- Supports JBoss EAP version 7.1
- Apache Camel upgrade to version 2.21
- Many additional Camel Enterprise Integration Patterns, data formats, and components
- Apache Karaf version 4.x
