Red Hat Customer Portal: New Features Available on April 5, 2013

Updated -

We're pleased to announce the following major features included with our update published on April 5, 2013. These features, along with numerous bug fixes and minor enhancements, are now available to all users.

Change of Our Knowledge Root Directory

You will notice that all of our Knowledge content is now being served from "/site" rather than the previous "/knowledge" root. As our Knowledge platform continues to grow and evolve, we are beginning to use it more and more for non-Knowledge purposes. Changing our root now is a proactive step in preparation for all the great things we have in the works.

NOTE: You should not feel any impact from this change. Our team has spent a lot of time ensuring that any saved links or bookmarks will be automatically redirected to the new location. If you find a place that we missed, please report it by creating a case.

Coming Soon: Announcements!

You might have noticed this new template! We have been working on a new announcements platform, which will be fully available in the next release. Announcements will be made visible on the homepage and in our product areas. Moreover, you will have the ability to receive email notifications of new announcements for specific products as they're published. Stay tuned for more information!

Search Enhancements: Tags and Clickable Labels

We continue to evolve the innovation preview of our new Search&Browse experience with two new features. First, we've added tags to the filtering controls so that you can filter search results by a specific tag. Second, you can now click on a particular product or tag label in the search results to re-filter by that label. We hope these two features will allow you to drill-down even quicker to find your answers.
