Red Hat CloudForms 4.5 is now available

Red Hat CloudForms 4.5 is now generally available, and provides the following key enhancements:

  • Ansible Automation Inside: native integration with Ansible Automation as the default language for IT service automation and policy-controlled governance.
  • Additional management capabilities for Openshift Container Platform: visualization of live ad hoc metrics, relationships between containers and persistent storage, and new management roles for container operators and platform storage.
  • Updates for managing OpenStack platforms: tenant synchronization with storage and network object mapping, support for Panko eventing, and visualization of floating IP addresses.
  • Improved management capabilities for public cloud platforms: a new storage provider for the Amazon Elastic Block Storage (EBS) service, synchronization of AWS labels with CloudForms tags, and AWS Cloudwatch event collection with alert response automation.
