Overview

Authoring Rules for Red Hat JBoss BRMS has been updated to Red Hat JBoss BRMS 6.3, the latest version of the product. This course update is focused on updating the labs from 6.0 to 6.3, and improving labs, demos, and lectures for an easier consumption for students. Furthermore, bugs identified by instructors were fixed.

Market Opportunity

JBoss BRMS is the major tool in automation for business rules. It is provided by Red Hat as a standalone product and also as part of JBoss BPM Suite. Due to its increasing importance in consulting, JB461 is an important course to provide business analysts and developers the basic knowledge to work with business rules expressed in the Drools Rule Language, decision tables, and Domain Specific Languages. This course focuses on the Business Central web interface that allows business
experts with little to no knowledge of computer programming the ability to develop and test business rules for consumption by BRMS-enabled applications.

The BRMS exam, EX465, will also be updated to BRMS 6.3. The remaining courses recommended as preparation for EX465, JB463 and JB465, will also be updated.

Delivery Modes

Authoring Rules for Red Hat JBoss BRMS is immediately available as a two day course for ILT, a three day course for VT, and a self-paced course for ROLE and RHLS.
